RACP

Resource Availability Cost Problem

The resource availability cost problem (RACP) assumes that the level of renewable resources can be varied at a certain cost and aims at minimizing this total cost of the (unlimited) renewable resources required to complete the project by a pre- specified project deadline.

Procedure VP&V (2013 and 2015)

Van Peteghem & Vanhoucke (2013) propose an artificial immune system to solve the RACP and employ a new fitness function, a probability function for the capacity list and a K-means density function. Van Peteghem & Vanhoucke (2015) discuss an invasive weed optimization algorithm for the RACP. The extension of the problem in which tardiness of the project is allowed, is also discussed.
